Aaliyah Booker
Founder | Advocate | Public Speaker
Aaliyah Booker is a fearless advocate, public figure, and founder of Born To Stand Out, a platform dedicated to empowering individuals with visible and non-visible differences. Growing up as a Black girl with a facial difference, Aaliyah faced constant judgment, stigmas, and misconceptions about her worth and beauty. For years, she endured being overlooked, underestimated, and silenced — until, at the age of 20, she saw someone like her embrace their uniqueness and realized she could too.
Since then, Aaliyah has committed her life to representation, advocacy, and creating cultural shifts around inclusivity, beauty standards, womanhood, equity, and empowerment for people of all genders, races, and backgrounds. She speaks to audiences of 500–2,000 in schools, hospitals, churches, conferences, and virtual platforms, inspiring individuals to embrace their authentic selves.
Recipient of the David Roche Award for Best Advocate for CCAKIDS and Mentor of the Year Award from Wondergirls, Aaliyah continues to lead with love, faith, and vision. Through Born To Stand Out, she aims to reach millions, amplify overlooked voices, and redefine what it means to be bold, beautiful, and limitless in today’s world.
